With a little delay...

Sorry for this two days absence, but I was out of the city and didn't have enough time to post something.
Today I want to talk about.. bats) If you think that they are scary, disgusting and bloody animals, you're totally wrong! They can be very sweet and nice :) Here's the proof!

It's so-called fruit bat, they eat fruits, as you can imagine from their name :)
The first thing you must know about bats is the fact they are mammals, not birds. So they have arms and legs, they are warm blooded and they nurse their babies. They even have 5 fingers, tail, knees and forearms and 2 big ears (to hear better). They are the only mammals that can fly. And no, they are not blind, though see better in the dark, and also have a good sense of smell. They don't make nests, but roost. And baby-bats are called pups :)
Of course, there are scary predators among them, who are looking terrible and drink blood of animals and even people. But as we say in Russia "in a family not without a freak" :) But look at this big eyes, how can you call this baby a monster?! %))
